A chip that responds and processes the initial instructions for running a particular electric product is called a processor. The main functions of the processor are: Bringing, decoding, executing, and rewriting the activities of an instruction.
Processors are also called the brains of various electric products such as computers, laptops, smartphones, embedded systems, etc. The processor has two parts.ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) and CU (control unit).
MediaTek is one of the largest smartphone chip companies in the world. SOCs are based on the architecture of MediaTek ARM. These chips can be seen on various devices like Lenovo, Moto, Nokia, Xiaomi, Oppo, ZTE, Vivo etc.
Snapdragon is a chip designed for mobile devices. It is marketed by Qualcomm. Snapdragon processor is currently used in almost all the phone companies in the market.
Snapdragon’s mid-range chipset is much better than MediaTek’s mid-range chipset. Snapdragon processors are usually gaming processors. That is why there is so much demand for this processor in the present age.
High silicon is known as the largest domestic designer of integrated circuits in China. HiSilicon Kirin processor’s chips are based on the architecture of ARM. They apply ARM’s CPU design (Cortex CPUs) and GPU design (Mali GPUs) directly to their SOC.
HiSilicon Kirin’s most advanced series is Kirin 9000 series. This processor has some more chipsets. These include Kirin 900 series, Kirin 800 series, Kirin 700 series, Kirin 600 series, etc.
Samsung Processor
Samsung has only one processor called Exynos. So, Exynos is the name of a series of SOCs made by Samsung. But, Exynos processors are mainly found on Samsung Galaxy devices. Like other processors, Exynos processors use ARM’s architecture and power Android devices.
Global variants of Samsung Galaxy devices are powered by Exynos series processors. However, the US variant uses Samsung’s Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor.
From Exynos 7570 to Exynos 2100 the processor has been gradually improved and its popularity has also increased. Again Samsung is going to launch their new Exynos chipset very soon named Exynos 2200.
The processors I have talked about so far are used in Android phones. But now I will talk about the processor of Apple phone.

U series

Helio G
It is a MediaTek chipset. Helio G has a series. The series includes high- and mid-range chipsets. For example Helio G25, G35 is mid-range and Helio G70, G80, G85, G90, G95 is high-range chipset.Helio P

The MediaTek Helio X series was a high-range chipset. It is used in the flagship series of high-end smartphones. It is thought to be the equivalent of the Snapdragon 800 series.MediaTek has not released any new SOCs since the launch of the X30. So I can’t compare the Helio X series with any other advanced processor.
Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor
Snapdragon’s mid-range chipset is much better than MediaTek’s mid-range chipset. Snapdragon processors are usually gaming processors. That is why there is so much demand for this processor in the present age.
But now MediaTek has overtaken Snapdragon. So Qualcomm Snapdragon needs to bring a better processor to the market than MediaTek.

S series
Apple’s S series chipset has not come out. But, the Production of S1, S1P, S2, S4, S6 chipsets in this series is now discontinued. Again S3, S5, S7 chipsets are still in production.T series

Apple has released 3 chipsets of the W series. usually, the W series chipset is used in the Apple Watch. But W1 is used in AirPods and select Beats headphones. Also, The W3 chipset is used in Apple Watch Series 3 and the W3 chipset is used in Watch Series 4.H series
